Red Ribbon Sundays
World AIDS Day 2024 Health Series
As part of our commitment to fostering awareness and understanding of HIV health, the Mist LGBTQ Foundation launched Red Ribbon Sundays, a special Instagram Live series in December 2024. This initiative was designed to commemorate World AIDS Day and create a safe, engaging platform for discussions around HIV prevention, testing, and care.
Every week, we brought together healthcare professionals, community advocates, and individuals with lived experiences to shed light on crucial topics such as breaking stigma, navigating health systems, and the importance of sexual health. Our goal was to empower the LGBTQ+ community and allies with accurate information, practical resources, and inspiring stories.
This series was not just about education but also about building solidarity and hope. By tuning in, participants joined a movement toward a healthier and more inclusive future for everyone.
